As a cancer survivor, I know firsthand how life altering this journey is. I know all about the tests, scans, surgeries, dreaded treatments, and all the side effects and uncertainties. I also know how empowering and hopeful I felt when I rang the bell after I completed my chemo and radiation treatments. The bell symbolizes the end of chemo and/or radiation, resembling a milestone in our fight against cancer and the sound of the bell’s 3 rings is a symbol of hope that we are given after enduring a long fight. This bell and its 3 rings marks the end of a period in our life that we fought hard to get to. My hope is that every time we wear the “3 Rings Of Hope” bell we can be reminded of the warrior we are and how beautiful life is.

Meet the Owner

My name is Carla Moya and I am a breast cancer survivor.

I was diagnosed on September of 2007, which was a couple of months after a biopsy had erroneously said my lump was benign. Hearing my surgeon tell me it was cancer was totally unexpected and definitely scary.

I started my chemo treatments in October followed by radiation which started in late February. I remember being there and in the distance hearing the 3 rings from time to time. I would count down the treatments looking forward to my chance to ring the bell.

The journey was tough but I was fortunate to have the support of my family and friends. I kept focused on staying positive and visualizing myself ringing the bell… The bell of Hope. The fight wasn’t over yet but I knew I was closer to a new chance at life.
